Where Imagination Comes to Life

Creative Play Cafe offers a dual space for families to work and play.  Comfortable seating areas are available for parents to work or socialize with others, while their children, ages 1 through 6, engage in imaginative play nearby.

Creative Play Cafe is growing imaginations through play.  Your child can be a fireman, a builder, a banker, or a veterinarian.  Go camping and chase a bear through the woods, run a local market, or drive a trolley!  Children will be having so much fun, parents will want to join in, which we strongly encourage.

The STEM area will get their wheels turning, and the Human Claw Machine is definitely a crowd-pleaser with all the little giggles!

Though our play area is designed for children 1 through 6 years old, we do have a special section where older siblings can relax, read, or use their tablets. Or they may choose a STEM activity to engage their minds.  Professional craft and science kits are also available for sale for children ages 7–10.

Studies have shown that building on a child’s imagination helps to strengthen and develop critical life skills.  It increases a child’s ability to problem-solve and to self-regulate their emotions.  It also teaches them conflict resolution and builds their creative thinking.  Creative playtime also has many benefits for a child’s social and emotional health.  Imagination and pretend play are an essential part of a child’s education and proper development.
